Catholic eco-Investment accelerator toolkit

This tool developed by Faith and the Common Good in collaboration with the Laudato Si' Movement builds on the See-Judge-Act model to inspire Catholic congregations and institutions to enact ecological investment strategies that embody care for the earth.

During a recent webinar, Svitlana Romanko, Zero Fossil Fuels Manager at the Laudato Si' Movement, shared insights on the new tool, institutions that have made bold commitments, and methods for organisations seeking to begin or deepen implementations of their strategies.

The tool kit includes a high level roadmap for organizations to move towards a fossil-free investment portfolio (see below). A reflective judging process invites religious leaders to discern and ask questions regarding what steps to take in judging their existing portfolios and how they embody or do not enact Laudato Si principles.

The final step in the resource is a call to action, to support institutions in taking bold actions in divesting from fossil fuels and integrating ecological investment strategies. A key part of this process is to make your commitment to divesting/investing, methods proven to help institutions achieve Laudato Si investment goals.
